Telhio Credit Union extends credit card partnership with Elan

April 30, 2021

Telhio Credit Union, a $1.2 billion credit union, and Elan Financial Services, a leading payment services provider, announced they have extended their long-term partnership to provide Telhio’s 70,000 consumer and business members with industry-leading credit card products. This partnership provides high-value, diverse credit card options to Telhio’s consumer and commercial members.

Telhio credits the program’s long-term success to the open and continual communication with their designated Elan representative. Telhio cardmembers benefit from options that fit their individual lifestyles and financial needs while Elan handles everything from marketing of cards to current and prospective members to member service inquiries and issues.

“Operationally, Elan has proven to be an extension of our internal team,” said Karen Daniels, Telhio Credit Union senior vice president and chief retail officer. “They handle member concerns or questions efficiently and effectively, they are constantly monitoring and responding to trends in the marketplace, and they make it simple and easy for current and new members to apply. We are proud to partner with Elan.”

Since the partnership began in 2006, Telhio Credit Union has seen significant growth in its credit card program.

“Our partnership with Elan has been one of the key factors in helping our organization grow to a $1.2 billion credit union,” said Leslie Bumgarner, Telhio Credit Union President and CEO,. “A high-quality credit card program is critical to ensuring our members – both consumer and commercial – have the credit services that they need to thrive. Elan has allowed us to offer this program to our members seamlessly.”
