Highlights from the 2026 Governmental Affairs Conference

Last week, the Elan team joined more than 6,000 credit union employees, partners, and advocates at the America’s Credit Unions Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) for three energizing days in Washington, D.C.

From the inspiring opening session with Brené Brown to the many in‑person conversations with credit union leaders from across the country, our team left feeling both motivated and deeply connected to the movement we serve. We were especially grateful for the time spent hearing directly from current partners about their experiences and priorities.

Throughout the event, several themes stood out — predictions for the future of payments, the growing influence of AI on the financial landscape, and actionable guidance for leaders working to futureproof their credit unions.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth and shared their insights. If we didn’t get a chance to meet, but you’re interested in learning how our credit card program helps credit unions accelerate product launches, deploy technology faster, and elevate member experience with a modern, seamless card solution, we’d love to connect.
