(Minneapolis, MN) — Elan today announced a $150,000 donation to the American Red Cross to support relief and recovery efforts in communities impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene, on behalf of our partners.

“Our hearts go out to our teammates, partners, and communities affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene," said Aaron Melnarik, Elan Credit Card Director of Client Relationships. “The intent of the Elan Charitable Giving program is to support our partners beyond a business relationship and the communities they serve. By donating directly to the American Red Cross, we know that their teams will continue to deliver immediate and long-term resources to those impacted in the best way possible.” 

For more than two months, the Red Cross has been on the ground in impacted communities delivering safe shelter, food, emergency relief supplies, emotional support, health services, and financial assistance. Severe damage in some areas has also shifted services to include laundry and shower trailers, cooking stoves, and maintenance items for generators and cleanup machinery.   

Our donation will support everyone in affected areas, but we make this donation on behalf of and in support of our credit card partners directly impacted including:
