Celebrating Our 50th Anniversary by Giving Back

OCTOBER 2018 | 2018 marks Elan's 50th year in the credit card agent business. To celebrate this anniversary, Elan is making a series of $10,000 charitable donations on behalf of 10 of our partners. All of our partners, whether a bank or a credit union, focus on servicing their immediate communities. We could not think of a better way to illustrate Elan’s commitment to our partners who have driven our success over the past 50 years than by helping them support the causes that they care about.

Elan builds stuffed animals for children

JANUARY 2018  |  In Charlotte, North Carolina, Elan employees participated in a workshop to assemble stuffed animals for donation to the Charlotte Fire Department. The firefighters from the department give out the stuffed animals to children involved in emergency situations to provide some comfort in a variety of life changing scenarios. Elan is proud to help out the community and participate in an event that benefits those at their most vulnerable and in a time of great need.

Elan supports Feed My Starving Children

SEPTEMBER 2016  |  Feed My Starving Children is a reputable and global non-profit organization focused on distributing food to severely malnourished children through partner organizations in orphanages, schools, clinics, and other food programs in impoverished parts of the world.  Feed My Starving Children has reached more than 70 countries since it was established in 1987.

In September, Elan employees helped hand pack 109 boxes of MannaPack Rice, one of Feed My Starving Children’s specially formulated meal packs. 109 boxes of MannaPack Rice will provide 23,544 meals to children in need. The amount of food in these boxes can feed 65 children over the course of a year. Elan employees filled the MannaPack Rice meal bags, sealed them, labeled them, and packed the boxes before they were shipped to countries around the world.

FEBRUARY 2015  |  Feed My Starving Children is a global non-profit organization focusing on distributing food to children in an effort to break the cycle of poverty. Feed My Starving Children has reached more than 70 countries since it was established in 1987.

In February 2015, Elan employees donated their time to Feed My Starving Children by hand packing meals specifically formulated for the malnourished children in orphanages, schools, feeding programs, and clinics around the world. Elan employees also donated $1,500 to support the non-profit’s continuing efforts to build healthy children in every country.

In February 2015, Elan employees donated their time to Feed My Starving Children by hand packing meals specifically formulated for the malnourished children in orphanages, schools, feeding programs and clinics around the world.  Elan employees also donated $1,500 to support the non-profit’s continuing efforts to build healthy children in every country.

Elan participates in community volunteer event

JUNE 2017  |  Elan participated in a community volunteer event in Minneapolis, MN as part of their focus on social responsibility. The event hosted several organizations based in the Twin Cities, including Bridging, which is a locally based nonprofit that helps provide furniture to people who are moving out of poverty and homelessness.

Elan employees helped build dressers, packaged children’s kits, and created laundry detergent packs. All of these activities directly impacted those in need and provided relief to allow focus on creating successful futures.
