AMCORE BANK OFFERS SURCHARGE FREE ACCESS AT MORE ATMS INCLUDING WALGREEEN’S LOCATIONS

MINNEAPOLIS. – (March 5, 2009) AMCORE Bank, a leading Midwestern bank headquartered in Rockford, Illinois, will offer access to surcharge free ATM transactions through the MoneyPass network at nearly 150 of its ATMs located in Wisconsin. This enhanced access to MoneyPass is especially convenient for cardholders as more than 135 of these ATMs are located in Walgreens stores throughout the state.

AMCORE has been participating in MoneyPass since 2008 in order to offer its cardholders access to surcharge free transactions at more than 16,000 ATMs across the United States. Many of these ATMs are conveniently located in the same geographic regions as AMCORE customers, making MoneyPass the perfect complement to AMCORE’s existing ATM locations throughout Illinois and Wisconsin.

Additionally, by participating in MoneyPass AMCORE gains access to nearly 30 million cardholders whose financial institutions also participate in MoneyPass.
